Issue 13 of The Diecast Magazine contains die cast model cars, trucks and aircraft and is the diecast collector magazine for die-cast model collectors.
This issue of The Diecast Magazine is packed with news, new release information and features of some of the best diecast models available. Being the Christmas edition, many may have some spare time over this period, so we have featured a brilliant in-depth article on how to repaint diecast models by our resident die cast doctor, Rob Smith, for those who want to involve themselves in our hobby and create a unique die cast model for their own car room collection.
Our cover story of the Biante 1/18 1987 Bathurst winning VL Commodore was surrounded by controversy on race day, but is now celebrated as another addition in the Peter Brock diecast model collection by Biante. We also follow up on our Holy Grail article from issue 12 about the 1/18 Biante Ultra White twin mirror Ford Falcon GTHO. With plenty of feedback from this article, we add some extra detail that will provide a little more information in fathoming the myths behind this exclusive die cast model car in Australian diecast folklore.

With the V8 Supercar season in its final stages for 2009, Classic Carlectables’ 1/18 die-cast model of Jamie Whincup’s 2009 V8 Supercar is hot property. We take this diecast model car for a run, as well as CMC’s beautiful 1/18 Ferrari 250 TR Testa Rossa.
